This Farmers’ Market offers a unique experience with a permanent outdoor marketplace during the spring/summer including vendor booths, a food barn, a bandshell for local music and a miniature train that runs during the Sunday market. You will find fresh, locally grown produce, meats and eggs as well as fresh baking and preserves. There’s plenty of ready to eat food to keep you satisfied as you listen to live music, enjoy local craftspeople and relax around the stage or the children’s sandbox. For a relaxing experience to help you get a good sense of what Powell River community feels like, join us from May-Sept on Saturdays from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm and year round on Sundays from 12:30 pm – 2:30pm at 4365 McLeod Road. Family Farm B&B is a hobby farm situated on a lovely 5 acres in the quiet town of Powell River, BC. In the presence of a host, guests can visit with various animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and goats. There are various free activities for adults and children (depending on season and availability), including goat-milking, cheesemaking, and vegetable gardening. Breakfast is included.

Artique is a co-op gallery of close to 30 Powell River working artists and craftspersons who collectively display their work for sale. These include greeting cards and works on paper, jewellery of metals and precious stones, pottery, soaps and lotions, photography, watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylics on canvas and board, fine textiles, stained glass, glass beads, and wood and stone sculptures.
