Mobility

- Can be reached without going up or down stairs, has a main entrance and/or stall that is a minimum 815 mm wide and has an outward swing door
- Key activities are accessible to guests using mobility devices
- Information displays (if applicable) at a lower height
- Accessible spaces have clear views of the main activity (i.e. stage, viewing area)
General
- Business accepts Access2Card (www.access2card.ca) or permits a support person to accompany the customer at no cost or at a discount
- Business has high-speed internet service available for video application use
We are an outdoor facility with options for people with mobility requirements. Our main gate allows for larger wheelchairs and though our eagle and hawk display is at upper level, there is separate entrance that doesn’t require stairs.

When you experience them up close, you learn that they are more than predators from the sky; they are essential to maintaining the delicate eco-balance of our planet. The Raptors offer compelling and interactive experiences with a variety of birds of prey species including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. Get closer than you ever imagined to these majestic and intelligent creatures. Flying demonstrations, hands-on encounters and educational talks offered daily (March – October). The Raptors is located in the heart of the beautiful Cowichan Valley, just 60 minutes north of Downtown Victoria and 45 minutes south of Downtown Nanaimo by car.
